Terms of Use
Plain-English terms for using Shopify Student. By using the site you agree to them.
Free to use
Every tutorial and learning path on this site is free to read, with no account required. You may link to our pages and share them freely. You may not republish our content as your own, resell it, or use it to train commercial models without written permission.
Accuracy and change
Shopify updates its interface frequently. We check and date our guides, but screens and menu names may differ from what you see. Always confirm critical steps — especially billing, payments, taxes and domains — against Shopify's own documentation.
External links
We link to third-party documentation, videos and tools we consider useful. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Linking is not endorsement.
Expert help
Submitting the expert help form is a request for a conversation, not a contract. Paid work is delivered by PromptSites.com under its own separate agreement, scope and pricing.
No warranty, no liability
The site is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that following a tutorial will produce a particular result for your store, and we are not liable for any loss, downtime, lost revenue or data loss arising from use of the site. You are responsible for changes you make to your own store.
Fair use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at volume, or submit false or abusive content through our forms. We may block access where necessary.
Trademarks
Shopify Student is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Shopify Inc. “Shopify” is a trademark of Shopify Inc., used here only to describe the platform our tutorials cover. See our disclaimer.
